The Brief

Maya, a growing beauty brand with a focus on hair care, dreamed of creating more than just an online presence they wanted a digital home where women could feel seen, inspired, and connected. Their vision was a website that not only reflected their brand’s elegance but also provided real value through services. This meant a space where clients could easily book appointments, shop for products, and explore the world of Maya. The challenge was to design a platform that balanced beauty and functionality, transforming a simple website into an experience that embodied the brand’s femininity and strength.

Process

To bring this vision to life, I chose pink as the statement color, symbolizing femininity, softness, and empowerment. My inspiration came from Isee Hair, a brand that successfully uses pink to communicate its identity, and I translated that idea into Maya’s digital presence. Every design decision was intentional from the warm, inviting color palette to the clear navigation ensuring that the website felt welcoming while remaining practical. The process was about finding the harmony between emotional storytelling and a seamless user journey.

The Outcome

The final concept highlighted how powerful a statement color can be in shaping brand recognition and connection. By pairing a bold, feminine aesthetic with functional tools like a booking system and online shop, the website became more than a service platform it became a brand experience. This project reinforced my belief that design is not just about what people see, but how easily and meaningfully they can interact with it.
